U-Dot Singles #1 & #2: “A Interference Gilt/Eye Sky” & “UntrulyUnhurt/Tousle” by Good Advices

Kick out the singles! U-Dot Music is excited to launch the U-Dot digital singles series with not one, but two singles from Good Advices. The first is a match made in heaven, bringing “A Interference Gilt” (”side A”) and “Eye Sky” (”side B”) together in perfect harmony.  The second sees some outside influence on both tracks, with hot side “UntrulyUnhurt” featuring vocals by Sacha Galvagna (Carta, Sanchez, Back to Nature) and cool-side “Tousle” with assorted bits by Mike Eul (Continental).

As with all singles in the series, these are absolutely free to download and come packaged with hi-resolution, digital cover art. We’ve also included a printable CD sleeve with liner notes for those who want to burn these to a disc and touch ‘em, smell ‘em, love ‘em like a real-live record.

You can download the complete packages of 320kbps MP3s, hi-res artwork, and printable sleeves on the Good Advices page or directly right here:

Single #2: UntrulyUnhurt/Tousle (.zip)

So enjoy these first two. More will follow from a variety of artists — some you know, so you don’t.  Check back, or even better, subscribe to our RSS feed and get the singles delivered directly to you.

And just a quick note of gratitude to the following folks for helping with, not just these first two singles, but also with getting this series off the ground. Thank you very much, Nick Neubeck, Harry Gregory III, TM Colla, Ryan Kleeman, Sacha Galvagna, and the Continental boyz, Craig Escalante, Mike Eul, and Matt Holt!

The Singles Are Coming

U-Dot will soon start releasing a series of free digital singles! In the tradition of, well, traditional singles, these consist of only two songs: an A and B side. Each single will be absolutely free to downloan, and each will come complete with high-resolution artwork and printable cover if you are into that sort of thing.

The first two singles are nearly ready. Both are from Good Advices, and both are good for you.

Stay tuned.

Here’s a short clip of Contintenal playing “Highbeams” at Bruno’s, circa 2000. Thanks, Harold.
